A guide for content creators to identify and counter Russian propaganda in the latest technologies

Guide

Many journalists, bloggers, and public figures, in an effort to disseminate information quickly, often resort to using artificial intelligence tools without thoroughly checking the facts. This practice has led to the spread of distorted information and propaganda, in particular regarding the war in Ukraine and global scenarios. The ease and speed of creating content with AI, combined with the lack of critical evaluation, has contributed to the widespread dissemination of misleading narratives.

Aware of this problem, the team of the Institute of Innovative Governance has developed recommendations on the use of artificial intelligence applications for ethical journalism and the dissemination of reliable information. These guidelines are intended to help navigate the complexities of AI tools, ensuring that their use enhances, rather than jeopardises, the reliability and credibility of the information they share with the public.
